Résumé : Explores how Ty spent that night after Zane kicked him out of their room.
NdA : This came about because Zane’s parting shot at the end of Chapter 10 (« Go on. I’m betting Nick’s fucking waiting for you with a nice warm bed. ») bothered me a lot (not because I thought it would be OOC, but because it was so damn painful). But it also got me thinking about how and what Ty did all night, since we know the place was cleaned up and Zane’s clothes were folded next to a glass of water and some painkillers.
So here’s what I think could have gone down.

Spoliers : Touch & Geaux (tome 7) inclus (enfin, je ne l’ai pas encore lu et ça ne m’a pas dérangée outre mesure)
Particularité :
1) techniquement, il s’agit d’une fic originale et pas d’une fanfic puisque son auteur est également celle des romans.
2) après avoir rédigé cette fiche de recommandation, je me suis aperçue que le texte n’était pas tant un one-shot qu’un extrait d’une nouvelle portant le même titre et qui est, elle, payante. Après consultation avec l’équipe FINTE, il a été décidé de conserver cette fiche puisque cet extrait se tient tout à fait en tant que one-shot.
3) la nouvelle en question est le premier tome d’une nouvelle série de romans (à venir, du moins a priori) centrée sur les autres membres de l’unité spéciale de Marines (nommée « Sidewinder », soit « Crotale ») dont Ty faisait partie
4) À ce jour, l’auteur propose gratuitement deux autres courts textes sur la série : Dine & Dash (pur PWP Zane/Ty, vrai one-shot cette fois) et Bait & Switch (en l’absence de Ty, en mission dangereuse pour plusieurs mois, Zane et Nick essaient de sympathiser ; tout comme pour Shock & Awe, j’ai appris après la lecture qu’il ne s’agit que d’un extrait mais là encore, il se lit tout à fait comme un one-shot. Le texte entier se trouve intégré dans la nouvelle Shock & Awe).

Résumé (extrait) : Nick pushed up and tugged at his shirt with his free hand, yanking it over his head and throwing it aside. Kelly ran his hand up Nick’s chest, fingers barely grazing, tentative. He was an odd mixture of bold and uncertain. Nick didn’t know why that turned him on, but it did. He’d never been with anyone for their first time. He’d certainly never been with a friend.
